The research on Automatic irrigation based on ESP8266 and Arduino presented by MIPC Electrical Technology Final year student can be a solution for farmers, this system will work to minimize the number of workers in a crop field, control, save water and electricity; increase agricultural production using small quantities of water, minimize manual intervention in watering operations with increasing watering speed. In this project the moisture sensor was used to measure the moisture content in soil and send a signal to the microcontroller, if the level of moisture found is low to the desired level, microcontroller trigger the relay and relay also open up the pump. The significant of this project is to detect the moisture level in order to pump water in the farming place. And also the project will help the farmer to avoid the wastage of time during irrigation process.
